Katapulco Compared to Other Search Home Pages

We would like to demonstrate how you can save time, efforts and steps if you use Katapulco as your search home page for all your Internet searches. Here is some benchmarking that we did, using typical search situations. This example uses Windows keyboard shortcut but Macs' also have similar shortcuts. Here are our findings:

Conclusion: Katapulco requires less steps, keystrokes or mouse moves. Here is more:

Four (4) keystrokes or moves less than using the mouse (and less time)
Up to 13 keystrokes less* than the keyboard method without Katapulco
Even a simple Google search requires one (1) to five (5) steps less (assuming Katapulco is your search home page and you use Ctrl-N or Alt-Home to bring it up)

Furthermore, Katapulco saves you the time spent going back and forth between the keyboard and the mouse. Try using Katapulco as a search home page and you may just not be able to go without it from now on!

* The keyboard approach without Katapulco's search home page may require less keystrokes than quoted if the visited web site has been viewed before and is present in the history of visited sites. However, you will still need to press the down arrow key to reach your selection from the dropdown list and then press "Enter".
